Dear User,
To further enhance the Trial Fund experience, we are upgrading the Trial Fund offset mechanism by introducing a new Dynamic Pre-Offset feature. The details are as follows:
1. What is Dynamic Pre-Offset?
When you use a Trial Fund for futures trading and hold open positions, the system will calculate and update the Trial Fund pre-offset amount in real time based on:
- Realized PnL;
- Unrealized PnL (floating profit and loss).
The pre-offset amount will dynamically adjust as your position PnL changes, but no actual deduction will occur immediately.
2. How Can the Pre-Offset Amount Be Used?
The pre-offset amount follows these rules:
Can be used for:
✅ Maintaining margin for existing positions.
Cannot be used for:
❌ Opening new positions as margin;
❌ Withdrawals;
❌ Fund transfers.
As a result, the pre-offset amount will not increase your available opening margin but will help support your existing positions.
3. What Happens When the Trial Fund is Reclaimed?
When the Trial Fund expires or is reclaimed early:
- The system will settle based on the final pre-offset amount;
- The recorded pre-offset amount will automatically be converted into your own account funds;
- After conversion, the funds can be used according to the normal account asset rules.
4. Example
Suppose you receive a 100 USDT Trial Fund and hold an open position:
- During the life of the position, the system dynamically updates the pre-offset amount based on realized and unrealized PnL;
- The pre-offset amount can be used to maintain existing positions but cannot serve as margin for opening new positions;
- When the Trial Fund is reclaimed, the pre-offset amount will automatically convert into your own account funds.
5. Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why does my pre-offset amount change?
A: The pre-offset amount is adjusted in real time based on the realized and unrealized PnL of your current positions, so it may increase or decrease with market movements.
Q: Why can't the pre-offset amount be used to open new positions?
A: The pre-offset amount is intended to help maintain existing positions and is not included in the available margin for opening new positions.
Q: When does the pre-offset amount become my own asset?
A: Once the Trial Fund expires or is reclaimed early, the pre-offset amount will automatically be converted into your own account funds.
6. Effective Date
This upgrade will be introduced in a future platform release. The official effective date will be subject to the platform announcement and actual launch schedule.
