To further optimize the user experience of Trial Funds, we will be upgrading the rules related to Trial Funds (including Enhanced Futures Bonus). The details are as follows:
1. Adjustment to Trial Fund Offset Rules
Before
Trial Funds were used to offset losses immediately when a position was closed.
After
The offset timing for Trial Funds (including Enhanced Futures Bonus) will be changed from position closure to Trial Fund coupon reclamation.
The updated rules are as follows:
- When a position is closed, the system will only record the realized loss generated by the closed position;
- No Trial Fund amount will be deducted at the time of position closure;
- Before the Trial Fund expires or is reclaimed early, the system will calculate and apply the accumulated offset amount;
- After the offset is completed, the remaining Trial Fund will be reclaimed.
Example
A user receives a 100 USDT Trial Fund:
- A position is closed with a loss of 30 USDT, and the system records the offset amount;
- Another position is closed with a loss of 40 USDT, and the offset amount is accumulated;
- Upon Trial Fund reclamation, the system first applies the recorded offset amount and then reclaims the remaining Trial Fund balance.
2. Adjustment to Early Reclamation Rules
When a Trial Fund has not yet expired and all of the following conditions are met:
- No open positions (Position Quantity = 0);
- Accumulated recorded offset amount ≥ Trial Fund amount;
The system will perform early reclamation:
- Apply the Trial Fund offset first;
- Use the entire Trial Fund amount for offset;
- Reclaim the Trial Fund after the offset is completed.
3. Trial Funds Not Supported for Coin-Margined Trading in Unified Accounts
To standardize product rules:
Trial Funds (including Enhanced Futures Bonus) are not supported for:
- Coin-Margined Futures in Unified Accounts
- Asset Collateral
- Loan Repayment
Trial Funds (including Enhanced Futures Bonus) are supported for:
- USDT-Margined Futures in Futures Accounts
- USDT-Margined Futures in Unified Accounts
Please ensure that you fully understand the relevant rules before using Trial Funds.
4. Effective Time
This rule upgrade takes effect immediately upon the publication of this announcement.
