Dear Bitruers,
The last few weeks have upended many of our lives, from seeing historic price movements in the crypto and traditional financial markets, to adjusting ourselves to temporary quarantine measures in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. During a time where we’re all feeling a great sense of unease I felt it was important to share a reassuring message with all of our users who have placed their trust in our team and our platform.
First, I want to assure everybody that all business on Bitrue will be continuing as normal. Our team members are currently quarantining and abiding by social distancing and related safety initiatives. Everyone has been set up with the necessary equipment, VPNs, and communication networks to ensure that they can continue working from the safety of their own homes without impacting the regular service and development of the Bitrue platform.
It gives me great hope to see that some areas of the world have already reached the light at the end of the tunnel, and they have shown us that it’s possible for all of our lives to go back to normal soon.
Bitrue remains financially healthy and none of our services are currently impacted. We also anticipate that there will be no change to the planned development roadmaps of our upcoming new features, such as our dusting feature, which within the next month will allow you to convert your small amount of leftover coins into BTR. We’ll have more announcements of exciting and innovative features coming very soon.
We also understand some customers may be facing health-related and economic hardships due to the significant impact of the COVID-19 virus, and we are here to help. For the next month we will be offering interest free loans for all Bitrue users. This will go into effect from April 1st - 30th, and will also be applied to existing loans that are active on Bitrue.
Please everybody remember to take appropriate safety measures to keep yourself, your loved ones, and your community safe. Ensure that you keep a distance of at least 2 meters between yourself and other people at all times. Wash your hands thoroughly several times a day, and especially every time you return from a trip outside. If you know any vulnerable people in your local community then check in with them regularly to make sure that they’re healthy and have everything they need. Finally, if you feel that you have any of the coronavirus symptoms (fever, dry cough, shortness of breath), contact your local health authority immediately for further advice.
Life often throws difficulties at us, but nothing ever stops us for good. We will all come out of this together, stronger than ever.
