Pepecoin’s community, which consists of people who support or hold the PEPE Token, has been rising significantly, reaching new milestones by the week.
This happened on Telegram and Twitter, where the members and followers of both channels has been increasing significantly by the week, beating most meme coins in the Ethereum Ecosystem.
While the Telegram also shows impressive growth, the most prominent growth is seen on Twitter.
PEPE’s Twitter is Growing
PEPE’s twitter account has reached more than 600,000 followers, where it currently stands at around 642,200 Followers to be exact.
This is a huge accomplishment in just under a year since many meme coins in the past bull markets have not been able to reach this number.
The number also grows by the week, proving why the meme coin has the number three spot in terms of market capitalization compared to other meme coins, just trailing behind DOGE and SHIB.
The increasing number of followers is a testament that the meme coin sector is growing and the overall market is growing.
This is because in previous bull markets, the number of followers on meme coin is still relatively low compared to the pre-bull market follower gain that PEPE experienced.
The last time a meme coin reached higher than PEPE’s follower count was experienced by DOGE and SHIB, where both of them have more than 3 Million followers on Twitter.
But, considering they have existed in the market much longer than PEPE, this does not undermine the accomplishment of follower growth that PEPE experienced.
Engagement Rate Still Low
The Telegram channel however does not represent much of an accomplishment but is still considered impressive.
Currently, there are almost 15,000 members on the telegram channel, increasing significantly per week.
The channel has lower members than their Twitter account because the telegram channel is just a channel with no place to communicate, so it is used similar to Twitter by the team behind PEPE.
This means that all the information that is available on Twitter is published here, which is why it seems redundant for members to follow both channels.
However, looking at the engagement rate of both, the current engagement rate stands around 1%, which means that only an average of 1% of the overall Twitter followers of PEPE are interacting with the PEPE Twitter account tweets.
Also the Telegram shows similar results, which means that only 1% of the overall Telegram channel members are interacting with the information published on the channel.
The low engagement rate does not mean much however, because the transaction volume is still increasing by the day.
Also, the information published on both channels seems to be viewed by almost half of the members and followers it has, meaning that the information published does not go to waste.
Overall, the marketing and publishing team behind PEPE is something to be studied on as they have successfully increased attention towards PEPE, which essentially pumped its price and market capitalization at the same time.
So, if you are looking to build your own project, it is good to have PEPE as one of the inspirations for the marketing plan.
