Airdrop Overview
Claim eligibility for the airdrop is now live in ZetaHub, opening doors for any web3 user to enter Phase Z-1 and prepare for the upcoming launch. At ZetaChain, transparency and fairness are integral to our community engagement efforts. In line with these values, we conducted extensive data analysis to determine airdrop amounts that accurately reflect each community member's contributions during the ZetaLabs testnet phase.
Over 68 billion ZETA Points have been earned by users to date, showcasing the remarkable progress made in community growth and network battle-testing. The rewards, totaling 31.5M ZETA, are allocated to over 800,000 ZetaLabs users and contributors. A tier system, based on Invite points and Transactor points, ensures a fair distribution that recognizes varying levels of engagement, participation, and impact on the ecosystem.
Core Criteria and Analysis
The tier system considers cumulative ZETA Points, with users over 50k points eligible for respective tiers in both Inviter and Transactor tracks. The rewards scale based on adjusted tiers, preventing disproportionate allocations to a small percentage of users. High tier Inviters receive bonuses based on the ratio of invitee points, encouraging meaningful engagement.
Early ZetaLabs joiners receive a bonus multiplier, as do users with records of assets on testnet and mainnets connected to ZetaChain. This approach ensures a fair distribution and guards against sybil attacks and botting.
Fine-Tuning with Adjustments
To capture nuances in contributions, adjustments were introduced based on transaction types, participation dates, and bot group associations. Transaction adjustments account for mainnet and testnet activities, while date bucket adjustments reward early supporters with increased airdrop amounts. Bot/Sybil group adjustments, in collaboration with SocialScan, aim to discourage inauthentic behavior while acknowledging the contributions of top-earning members in detected Sybil groups.
Access Pack
Users with the Access Pack will receive a kickstart of ZETA and entry into the XP Program, facilitating their immediate usage of ZetaChain 1.0 Mainnet. While smaller in allocation compared to tiers, this ensures a diverse range of participants can explore ZetaChain.
ZetaHub: The Gateway to ZetaChain
ZetaHub serves as the entry point into ZetaChain, allowing users to access claim information and, in the future, interact with core functionalities, community programs, ecosystem apps, and new developments on ZetaChain. The XP program, introduced in ZetaHub, will evolve into a generalized on-chain loyalty program for dApps.
Claiming the airdrop through ZetaHub will be possible with the Mainnet launch, and users may need to complete KYC onboarding procedures for eligibility.
Phase Z-1: Next Steps
Phase Z-1, or "Z minus one," is the upcoming phase leading to the mainnet launch. Participants can sign up via the Developer and/or User tracks to engage with ZetaHub's XP program and upcoming ZetaChain ecosystem initiatives.
